LaSalle County has 3,022 active and probable coronavirus cases as of Sunday. The county’s health department reported figures over the weekend showing the case number climbed above 3,000 for the first time in about a month. The department also reported one death from the virus. A man in his 60’s is fatal case number 249. The number of deaths has slowed in the last few weeks from four or five per day to just one or two every few days.
