Orville A. Eltrevoog
1932 – 2021

Orville A. Eltrevoog, 88, of Ottawa, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021.

Private services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2020 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa, with Rev. Randy Mortenson, Pastor of Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will follow at West Lisbon Cemetery.

Orville was born on April 12, 1932 in Ophir, TWP to J. Andrew and Kristine (Myre) Eltrevoog. He was the youngest of nine children. Orville married Delores Lundy on January 24, 1953 at Stavanger Lutheran Church in Seneca, IL. He worked at Libbey-Owens Ford for 42 years. Orville was a Veteran of the US Army and served from 1952 to 1954. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church and Freedom Lutheran Church. Orville enjoyed playing golf and was an avid fan of OTHS basketball and football games.

He is survived by his wife, Delores, five children, Bruce
(Dede) Eltrevoog, of Ottawa, Robert Eltrevoog, of Ottawa, Jean (Larry Speed) Eltrevoog, of Ottawa, Jay (Diane) Eltrevoog, of Wisc. Dells, WI, and Pamela Eltrevoog, of Chicago, two grandchildren, Andrew (Sasha) Eltrevoog and Eric Eltrevoog, two great grandchildren, Jaden and Isaiah Eltrevoog, a brother Truman Eltrevoog, and a brother-in-law Burdette Lundy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Martin and SeDell Lundy, a sister in infancy, and five brothers Ebert, Lawrence, Arthur, Bjarne, and Howard, a sister Helen Marten, and sister-in-law, Phyllis Lundy.
