A man is going to prison for a seven-year term for pointing a crossbow at police in Somonauk last June. Fifty-eight year old Curtis K. Poe pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and aggravated battery. Judge H. Chris Ryan sentenced him last week. Poe was arrested at Countryside Estates when police showed up on a call about a disturbance and found Poe threatening to use the weapon. Police used stun guns on him when he refused to put it down.
