The number of active coronavirus cases in LaSalle County grew by 17 Wednesday to 2,794. New cases outnumbered recoveries 103 to 86.
The LaSalle County Health Department says six more people have died of the virus as of Wednesday’s count. They were in their 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Fatal cases now number 233.
