Illinois Valley Community College is already taking scholarship applications from students who plan to go there next fall. The deadline is February 11. There are about 130 scholarships worth more than $300,000. They range from $500 to $4,500. Some are in specific disciplines such as agriculture and health care. And there are 40 or so open scholarships for students going into any field.
