When Supt. Jim Carlson and Prin. Marty Voiles retire at the end of the school year, Dan Stecken will become Seneca High School’s superintendent and Mike Coughlin the principal. The school board approved them for the jobs this week. They’re being offered two-year terms.
Stecken has been a teacher and coach for 13 years at Seneca High. His family lives in Seneca. Coughlin has been an assistant principal for nine years and a special education teacher for 18. He lives in Mazon and all three of his daughters are Seneca High graduates.
