The United Way of Eastern LaSalle County has nearly $58,000 in Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program funds to give out. Non-profit organizations, faith-based organizations, and government agencies that provide emergency food and shelter can qualify for it.
The money must be used for already existing programs. It cannot be used to start new programs. And it must be spent by May 31st.
The deadline to apply is January 5th.
