Recoveries outnumbered new cases and the LaSalle County Health Department lowered its fatal coronavirus case count Monday. The number of current cases has gone below 3,000, but not by much. It’s at 2,994.
With two more deaths reported Monday, the fatality count is at 176, although it had reached 175 Sunday. The health department says it subtracted one after realizing someone had been counted twice.
