The Illinois Valley Community College Board of Trustees has approved the $12.8 million property tax levy request put on file last month. The amount would be up 3.2% from the $12.4 million the board received this year. The district reaches into eight counties. Each will receive the tax levy request and calculate how much the IVCC part of each property owner’s tax bill should be next year.
