This is the week to turn in gifts for the Streator Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. Director Judy Booze says angels representing children from families that can’t afford much for Christmas were placed on a tree at the Streator Walmart. Each one had a description of what the child might like.

Booze says the gifts must be turned in by this Friday so the Salvation Army can coordinate delivery. And if there aren’t any more angels on the tree, you can still help the Salvation Army in other ways. Perhaps by being a bell ringer.
