Sen. Dick Durbin says the country needs to figure out how to make it possible for 330 million people to get COVID-19 vaccines. He says the virus isn’t taking a break, so Pres. Trump needs to cooperate with Joe Biden on a vaccine plan.
Durbin says he has no problem with Pres. Trump boasting about Operation Warp Speed. That was the White House initiative to get drug companies to develop COVID-19 vaccines quickly. But Durbin says holding out on getting the vaccines to the people who need them won’t reopen businesses and get the economy going again.
