Ottawa High School Supt. Mike Cushing hopes the Illinois High School Association delays basketball season to February or March. Some other sports can start this week. But for now, they’re not at OHS. Those include boys and girls bowling, cheerleading, poms, and swimming.
Only school employees are being allowed in the building because of the pandemic’s surge. Cushing told the school board last night, he doesn’t think students will be allowed back in until the next semester. So it’s remote learning until then.
