Two engineering firms have been chosen to design the new electrical substation in Peru. The city wants to move it from Water St. to Center St. so it’s out of the floodplain. The City Council authorized City Engineer Eric Carls to negotiate contracts with BHMG of Arnold, Missouri and Chamlin and Associates of Peru and Ottawa. BHMG will do the electrical engineering. Chamlin will do the rest.
