Three of four people charged back in March with illegally selling guns in LaSalle County have been sentenced to prison. The latest is 21-year old Alexander G. Adams of Ottawa, who pleaded guilty this week to being a felon in possession of a firearm. He accepted a seven-year term.
In May, 26-year old Terry R. Campbell Jr. of Streator pleaded guilty to that charge for a three-year term. And in June, 22-year old Nicholas J. Persinger of Streator took a six-year sentence for the charge, but he’s now trying to have his plea thrown out.
Still facing charges is 22-year old Nicholas J. Reynolds of Ottawa.
