The number of known and probable coronavirus cases so far in LaSalle County has topped 4,000. That’s about one in every 27 people in the county. As of Wednesday, there are 1,755 cases considered active, with the rest having recovered.
The LaSalle County Health Department says a man in his 90s is fatal case number 87 for the county. His was the only one added to that tally Wednesday, after two days in a row of five deaths each day.
