Illinois State Senator Sue Rezin says she is very proud of how many of her colleagues in the Illinois House of Representatives hung on to their seats this Election Day.
Senator Sue Rezin says:
Rezin commended voters for replacing Illinois Supreme Court Justice Tom Kilbride. She says they connected him with his patron, House Speaker Michael Madigan, whose dealings with ComEd have lead US Sen. Dick Durbin to call for him to step down.
She believes Kilbride’s ruling against fair mapping was something everyone can agree is not fair. The districts should be drawn more by population instead of to keep a political party in power.
She also approved of the Election Day vote to stop the Progressive Tax Amendment.
