When the Illinois Valley Community College Board of Trustees meets Thursday, it will consider the property tax levy for next year. This year, IVCC got $12.4 million in property taxes. The amount considered for next year is $12.8 million. That’s up 3.2%.

The board is also getting a recommendation to leave tuition at $133 per credit hour in the 2021 to 2022 school year. That would be the fourth consecutive year at that level. College president Jerry Corcoran says IVCC is doing everything it can to encourage enrollment growth.
