The coronavirus’ second wave has produced 142 new cases in one day in LaSalle County, as reported by the county health department Thursday. That’s the most ever in one day, topping the record 90 reached on Tuesday. The county has had 3,137 cases so far, including 2,036 recoveries, leaving 1,101 active cases. The department also announced a woman in her 90s is the 73rd fatal case from the county.
