The city of Oglesby announced late yesterday that the West water tower there is being drained and prepped for a recoating.
This change in water flow can potentially remove any deposits that might have built up over time in the lines. Unfortunately that means the water in Oglesby might be a little cloudy or have a slight discoloration for the time being as some of these deposits get removed.
This could last until the end of the month.
No boil order or other restrictions on water usage in Oglesby have been announced.
