LaSalle County’s coronavirus case count so far has topped 2,000. With the addition of 21 new cases Tuesday, the county’s sum is 2,018. Of those, 1,458 people have recovered and 58 have died.
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 2,851 new cases Tuesday for 324,743 so far. There were 29 more deaths, pushing the fatal case count statewide to 9,026.
