A contractor is scheduled to start resurfacing the Peru Public Library parking lot Monday. Access to the lot may be blocked, so people are advised to park on the streets near the library. During the next month, the contractor will put new surface for the parking spaces and create a new, level sidewalk. Drainage will be improved there too. The work is being paid for, in part, with money a woman willed to the library.
