A woman in her 40s from Bureau County is one of 42 fatal cases the Illinois Department of Public Health tallied Wednesday. That makes 8,878 so far across the state. The state reported 2,630 new cases for 307,641.
LaSalle County cases went up by 23 to 1,889. That number has also been adjusted to remove a person previously mistakenly thought to be from the county. Recoveries went up by 22 to 1,378. Fatal cases across the county stayed at 57.
