Possession of a stolen vehicle, burglary, attempted burglary, and theft are the charges a grand jury approved Tuesday against 29-year old Leroy Persinger. The grand jury approved burglary and retail theft charges against 51-year old Nancy Newell. The Streator man and woman were arrested Monday last week after police searched farm fields northwest of Streator for about ten hours. Both will be in court at different times later this week when they’re expected to ask for trials.
