LaSalle County is up to 1,836 coronavirus cases so far with 1,306 recoveries and 57 fatalities. The health department’s numbers Sunday say there were 16 new cases and 17 more recoveries. The recovery rate is at 71.1%. With 57 fatal cases, that rate is at 3.1%.
The Illinois Department of Public Health reports 301,541 cases so far with 8,791 of them fatal. That’s 2.9%. The state reported 1,453 new cases Sunday with 17 more deaths attributed to the virus.
