Coronavirus cases in Illinois went up by 2,442 in Saturday’s report to 300,088 total so far. It doesn’t say how many cases are still active or how many people have recovered. Thirty-one fatal cases were tallied for 8,774. The Illinois Department of Public Health announced the figures.
LaSalle County reported 14 new cases for 1,820 so far. Twenty-three more recoveries make 1,289. Fatal cases held at 57. The LaSalle County Health Department reported the figures.
New cases in the county covered the age range of the teens to the 80s.
