The high-dose influenza vaccine for people age 65 and up is available at the LaSalle County Health Department. The department is offering the high-dose clinic this Tuesday afternoon, October 6 by appointment. It costs $50 cash or insurance can be billed.
Those who go should wear a short sleeve shirt and a mask.
