Registration is still open for the final LaSalle County electronics recycling event. It’s this Saturday, October 3 from 8am to noon at the Etna Rd. courthouse. You can register for it at this link. Environmental Services and Land Use Director Brian Gift says the registration has helped keep the lines moving.
Gift is already planning for next year’s recycling events.
Most electronics can be dropped off for free. Not taken are air conditioners, loose batteries, thermostats, light bulbs, refrigerators, and freezers. There’s a limit of two televisions or computer monitors per household.
