At the Interstate Eight Conference boys golf title at Bliss Creek in Sugar Grove 

  • Kaneland won with a score of 298, Morris finished with a score of 311 for second place and Ottawa placed third with a final of 316.
  • Kaneland’s Josh Pehl led all golfers with a 73.
  • The Pirates Jonathan Cooper tied for second scoring a 74.

 

The Newark-Serena golf team lost to Seneca 175-191 at nettle creek golf course

  • Dylan Cartwright led Newark-Serena team with a 45
  • The Fighting Irish were led by Rylee Stengel, Noah Cade, and AJ Steiger who each had a final score of 43. 

 

Marquette were winners over Woodland at Wolf Creek 194-211.

  • Carson Zellers led The Crusaders with a score of 44.

 

Ottawa hosted the Varsity Girls  four team competition at  Deer Park

  • Kaneland won scoring a 171  Roanoke took 2nd with a final of 210  Ottawa placed 3rd with a team total of 211 and Seneca finished 4th with a score of 241.
  • Leading all golfers was Kaneland’s Catherine Marshall with a final total of  39
  • Lady Pirates  Zoe Harris led the team with a score of  44

 

The Lady Bulldogs lost at Pontiac in tennis 6-3

  • Winners for Streator were Haley Berry, Charlee Bourell and Lora Berry 

 

The LP Co-op swim team lost at Bloomington over the weekend 94-74.

  • Peyton Heagy won three events, and Nicole Pocivasek won two events for the Cavalier Co-op team.
