The Internal Revenue Service is still trying to get coronavirus stimulus money out to people who didn’t get any yet. Michael Devine with the IRS in Illinois says about 9,000,000 Americans who got none of the money yet are thought to be eligible.

Some people may not be required to file income tax returns because their income is below the threshold, others may be homeless, and there may be numerous other issues that have kept them from being paid. In any case, the IRS hopes they claim the stimulus money before the October 15 deadline to ask for it the easy way. After that date, you have to file a tax return.
