Ottawa Businesses that qualify for Downstate Small Business Stabilization grants can apply for them through Ottawa City Hall. A city announcement says a business with up to 50 employees can get up to $25,000 to cover verifiable working capital for 60 days. In a news release, Mayor Dan Aussem says he wants to help businesses facing financial challenges because of the pandemic to get help. Business owners who think they qualify can contact Economic Development Director Dave Noble at City Hall.
