A man in his 70s is the latest from LaSalle County to die of the coronavirus. The LaSalle County Health Department says the number of fatal cases now numbers 56. Six more recoveries were announced Tuesday for 1,035 so far. And 15 new cases were counted for 1,634.
The Illinois Department of Public Health says 1,531 more cases were added to its tally Tuesday for 277,266. Thirty fatal cases were counted statewide for 8,486.
