The state of Illinois is up to 275,735 coronavirus cases so far, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health. Figures announced Monday say there were 1,477 new cases counted. There were also seven more fatal cases for 8,457.
The LaSalle County Health Department reported five new cases, ranging in age from their 20s to their 60s. That makes 1,619 cases, including a downward adjustment for a person who wasn’t a county resident after all. Six more recoveries make 1,029. Fatal cases held at 55.
