An Ottawa man is accused of stealing fundraising money at the American Legion post downtown. Fifty-two year old Jeffrey P. Roche is charged with the theft of at least $500 but less than $10,000. Ottawa police began investigating the case in July, but court records say it may have gone back to April. Police say Roche used to work for the Legion.
