The closet doors inside the Starved Rock Regional Center for Therapy and Child Development aren’t good enough. The Illinois State Fire Marshall’s Office says they aren’t certified to provide at least 45 minutes of fire protection. So the center has to replace them, and there are about 20.
Executive Director Tracy Beattie says it’ll cost around $20,000. She’s asking for donors. Their names could be put on the doors themselves for donors who give enough.
Beattie hopes to have the job done in the next couple months.
