Ten write-in candidates have filed with the LaSalle County Clerkâs Office. Six of them are asking voters to consider them for president. And of them, two are from Illinois: Kasey Wells of Lexington and Barbara Bellar of Burr Ridge. The rest are Shawn Howard of Estero, Florida, Todd Cella of Layton, Utah, Mark Charles of Washington, DC, and Jade Simmons of Kingwood, Texas.
A Westchester man, Lowell Martin Seida, is asking for the U.S. Senate seat by write-in.
Branden McCullough of Rochelle and Roy Jones of Earlville are write-ins for the 16th Illinois Congressional District.
And Marcus Throneburg of Kewanee is the write-in in the 37th Illinois Senate district.
