LaSalle Rd. north of Peru was closed Wednesday while police conducted an investigation that’s reportedly into a serial killer’s claim of leaving a body there. The investigation location is at a former truck stop east of the Tiki Motel. A published report says police are following up on information from Dellmus Colvin, arrested in 2005, who says he has killed up to 52 women across the country while he was a long haul trucker.
