The number of deaths attributed to the coronavirus in LaSalle County climbed by two Wednesday with those of a woman in her 60s and a woman in her 90s. That makes 50 fatal cases so far. The LaSalle County Health Department says 20 more people have been diagnosed with the virus for 1,296 so far. And 35 more have recovered. That makes 749.
The Illinois Department of Public Health says 2,128 more cases were confirmed in its case count Wednesday for 238,643. And there were 27 more deaths, including the two from LaSalle County, for 8,091.
