LaSalle County has now had 45 deaths from the coronavirus, according to the LaSalle County Health Department’s daily update on Thursday. A woman in her 80s is the latest to succumb to it. Six more recoveries make 664 in all. And 28 new cases bring that count up to 1,183.
The Illinois Department of Public Health logged 24 more deaths for 7,977 so far. And 1,707 new cases were counted for 227,334 in all.
