At least three area schools reported COVID-19 exposures Tuesday.

Seneca High School says it has someone with symptoms and a connection to a known positive case. Deep cleaning is being done in the areas where the person was known to be.

A nearly identical announcement came from the Seneca Grade School District. The letter says the case is at the south campus.

Ottawa High School says someone there tested positive. The district is working to identify anyone who came into close contact with him or her.

And LaSalle-Peru High School reports someone with a positive coronavirus test. Students are on remote learning Wednesday through Friday this week. That applies to the Area Career Center too.

None of the school districts said in their announcements whether the possible or confirmed cases are of students or employees. Streator area schools reported possible exposures last week.
