LaSalle County has reached 42 deaths attributed to COVID-19. The LaSalle County Health Department Tuesday said a woman in her 70s is the latest to have a fatal case. The county added 17 new cases and 17 recoveries. That makes 1,136 cases so far and 649 recoveries for a 57% recovery rate
From the Illinois Department of Public Health, the state has had 223,470 cases and 7,917 deaths. That’s with the addition of 1,680 cases and 29 deaths Tuesday.
