While some Streator schools are dealing with possible COVID-19 exposure among staff or students, Ottawa High School is simply beginning all remote learning today. That announcement came Friday. The school year started with one quarter of students going on a given day, but Supt. Mike Cushing said last Monday he wouldn’t know what the following week would look like until Friday.
Woodland Community Unit School, Streator High, and Streator Elementary all reported positive tests or quarantines for possible exposures late last week. Streator High School has started a web page just for COVID-19 statistics at the school. Streator Elementary says it will do something similar.
