There were as many new cases as there were recoveries in Saturday’s LaSalle County Health Department update on the coronavirus. The 18 additional cases make 1,087 so far. The same number of recoveries put that figure at 549. Deaths attributed to the virus remain at 39.
State figures added 2,356 cases for a total of 218,285 so far and 17 more deaths for 7,874 so far. The numbers are from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
