Bars and other businesses with liquor licenses from the city of Ottawa can stay open until their usual times again. Mayor Dan Aussem yesterday lifted the 10pm closure rule, effective today. He issued the rule two weeks ago to combat the spread of COVID-19. He says with fewer cases in the 61350 zip code, he’s easing off. The idea two weeks ago was to minimize the length of time large crowds were together where the virus could easily spread.
