About half of Ameren Illinois customers in LaSalle County who don’t have electricity this morning are in or close to Ottawa. The company’s outage maps show 1,078 customers in the 61350 zip code without power and 2,128 in all of LaSalle County. A customer can be a home, apartment, business, non-profit organization, or government service with a power meter.
In Putnam County, Ameren reported 216 customers without power. And in Bureau County, 681 of its customers didn’t have electricity this morning.
Ameren estimates it will have power fully restored by tonight in this area.
For ComEd, there are 4,711 customers in LaSalle County without power. There are 1,612 without power yet in Grundy County and 40 in Bureau County. Estimated restoration times are tomorrow morning for southern LaSalle and western Grundy counties. Restoration is expected by tomorrow night for northern LaSalle and northern Bureau counties.
