Meal delivery is expected to return to normal next week for Meals on Wheels clients. The Voluntary Action Center says when the power was out, it couldn’t accept food deliveries. The coolers weren’t on to keep the cold stuff cold.
Regular customers were given five canned meals Wednesday to get them by for a few days. Only emergency customers are being served today. The center says the power is on again, so it’s expecting to accept food deliveries again tomorrow for regular hot meal preparation and delivery Monday.
