Illinois Valley Community College’s adult learning programs are about to receive a boost. The college was awarded nearly $80,000 in grant funding from the Illinois Community College Board for their Career and Technical Education programs. The money will be used to recruit adult learners and keep them in the program. The funding supports adult learners in industries such as information technology and education. Community colleges offer more than 4,300 adult learning programs statewide.
