The Alzheimer’s Association will put its “promise garden” in the Jordan Block in Ottawa this year. But the Walk to End Alzheimer’s will not have the approximately 500 walkers meeting there. Walk manager Sheena Rayford says people will walk in their own neighborhoods instead, so there’s no risk of spreading the coronavirus in a big crowd. It’s free to register and get a walk flag, but it is a fundraising event.

The event will be on Saturday, September 12. You can register for the Ottawa walk at this link. Or click here to search for other walks.
