About $2.4 million worth of infrastructure grants are being sent to LaSalle County and the cities and townships in it. An announcement from the governor’s office says the county government itself is getting around $713,000. The townships are splitting around $798,000. The cities and villages in the county are sharing just over $900,000. Money can be used for road and bridge improvements, traffic signal upgrades, storm sewers, bike paths, sidewalks, and other long-term needs.
