Illinois Valley Community College will receive a $32 million dollar budget to consider on Aug. 13. Spending is projected to be at $32.5 million, revenue at $32.1 million. The deficit will be covered by a $600,000 contingency plan that protects against uncertain enrollments and potential decrease in state support. Fewer students enrolling means less revenue from tuition. Revenue and spending are both up less than one percent over the previous year. The budget is expected to be voted on Sept. 10.
