A series of drug dealing arrests that began Friday continues. Peru police went to 23-year old Richard K. Basques’ home on Water St. Monday morning and served a warrant. Bond is set at $750,000 on charges that he dealt cocaine to undercover police sometime over the last few months. He’s the third person arrested in the sweep. Peru Police Chief Doug Bernabei announced Friday that many more arrests could be coming as a result of the special investigation.
